Fake note printing machine seized from anti-corruption leader!

In a surprising incident, a fake note printing machine has been seized from a leader of a so called anti-corruption organisation in Assam. Leader of Durniti Birudhi Juba Shakti Asom, Debananda Phukan has been detained following the recovery of a fake note printing machine from his house in Lakhimpur.

A team of Bihpuria police and Excise department of Lakhimpur conducted a joint search in the house of Durniti Birudhi Juba Shakti Asom's vice president Debananda Phukan in Santapur area under Bihpuria and recovered the fake note printing machine and some blank papers meant for the notes.

On the other hand, Debananda Phukan alleged, "There is a pre-planned conspiracy behind the recovery of the machine in my house."

Meanwhile, police informed that the matter was being investigated and the Income Tax department has been informed about the recovery.
