Four killed in two accidents in Assam

At least four persons were killed in two separate road accidents in the State on Saturday night. While three youths were killed in Boko, another one died on the spot in Tihu.

In the Boko accident, three youths were killed on the spot when a high speed Tata DY pick-up van (AS-25-DC-7267) and a bike (AS-01-AH-4077) rammed with each other near Bondapara in Boko of Kamrup district on Saturday night.

According to the police, two of the deceased youths were identified to be Bikash Rabha and Chinmoy Rabha. The other one is yet to be identified. Police also informed that they were returning to Boko town from Guwahati side.

On the other hand in the Tihu accident, one identified as Biraj Choudhury died on the spot when a Swift Dzire rammed into a Maruti 800 near Bhalla chowk on Saturday night. Biraj Choudhury was a resident of Pathsala. Six others also sustained injuries during the accident and sent to a hospital nearby for treatment.
