Assam’s Golap Rabha bags Mr. World Title

As laurels continue to make its way more prominently now to Assam, another feather was added to the crown on Sunday night as local boy Golap Rabha secured the Mister World title under the World Fitness Federation (WFF)-World Body Building Federation (WBBF) Amber Prix championships held at Lithuania in Europe from October 19 to 21 this year.

Rabha, a resident of Boko's Kaliabari in Kamrup district of Assam, participated in three categories- Men Bodybuilding, Men Muscle Model and Pro-Mr World in 80 kgs – and excelled in all the three by winning Gold.

Previously, Golap Rabha brought laurels to the State by emerging victorious with the titles of Mr. India in 2017 and Mr. Asia in 2018.

The new Mr. World title winner will be reaching his hometown on October 26.
