As India gears up for the 17th Lok Sabha election, Google has taken a step forward in encouraging the responsible citizen of the country with a simple doodle.

The doodle features right hand marked with the electoral ink on the index finger.
When clicked on the doodle's inked finger, the page directs people to a page explaining the steps on how to vote.
This doodle's reach was only for India where the world's largest democratic exercise kicked off earlier in the day.
