Government of Assam is gearing up for a grand welcome to Hima Das during her arrival in Assam on September 7.

Hima is coming to Assam with three Asiad medals after a month.

Hima will land in LGBI Airport Guwahati at 1pm by a Spicejet flight.

Assam CM Sarbananda Sonowal will receive Hima in LGBI Airport. After that Hima will leave for Dr Bhupen Hazarika Samadhi Sthal. Subsequently, Hima will pace on track in Sarusajai stadium.

Hima will be felicitated in Srimanta Sankardev Kalakhetra by a civic reception which is likely to be attended by her well-wishers and Assam ministers, MLAs.

Arjun Bhogeswar Baruah along with veteran sports personalities of Assam will be present there as guest.
