GRP Seizes 29 Stolen bikes

The Government Railway Police (GRP) on Sunday seized 29 stolen bikes at the parcel section of the Guwahati Railway Station.

Earlier, GRP personnel, whoconducted a raid in the parcel office at the Guwahati Railway station onWednesday (October 2), recovered as many as 13 Royal Enfield motorcycles, allstolen from Delhi and sent to various destinations in the Northeast for sale.

The bikes were stolen by a gang of bike-lifters from various locations of New Delhi. They were being taken to Manipur and Mizoram when they were intercepted by the GRP in Guwahati: GRP officials said.
