GUWAHATI | ATM Hackers Arrested in Mumbai

Assam police crime investigation department on Thursday arrested two Turkey nationals from Mumbai for allegedly being involved in ATM hacking.

The hackers were arrested for stealing millions of rupees from the bank accounts of subscribers by using ATM hacking device.

The halt in the transaction from the ATM's is being suspected as a result of hacking by the Turkey nationals.

According to reports, some miscreants hacked into the SBI ATM located in Last gate area below Hotel Heritage in Guwahati using some sophisticated ATM hacking software.

Reportedly, a citizen while trying to withdraw money from the ATM inserted his card and found the machine to be suspicious. He then alerted the concerned bank officials and police.
