Once again revealing the failureof the Guwahati police, robbers looted a house in Narikalbasti area in the citylast night.

According to reports, the incident took place when the robbers invaded the house of one Gopal Das and looted Rs. 2.5 lakhs in cash and jewellery. Das informed that the incident took place at around 10 PM.

Meanwhile, Das lodged a complaint at the Geetanagar Police Station regarding the incident. Teams of CID and Forensic experts reached the spot this morning and collected the sample of fingerprint.
