Guwahati: Int’l driving school coming soon

The Assam State Transport Department will set up an international standard driving training institute in Guwahati. The government of Assam has allotted 60 bighas of land to the transport department to set up the training Centre.

Kamrup GTO, Gautam Das on Wednesdaysaid that the circle officer of North Guwahati Revenue Circle has handed theland allotment letter to him.

Das further informed that the Centre will be set up with an aim to produce skilled drivers to prevent road accidents. The move will also create awareness among the younger generation, hoped Das.
