Robbery has turned very common these days in Guwahati. In a similar kind of incident, a woman has been allegedly robbed of Rs. 7 lakh at Beharbari area in the city on Saturday evening.

According to reports, the victim lady, identified as Ritu Bagoria, has withdrawn the cash from Garchuk SBI and was on her way home in her car bearing the registration number AS-01-AZ-5311. Suddenly, a man approached her to inform that she had a flat tire. After she parked the car to check the tire, the miscreant ran away with the bag containing Rs. 7 lakh cash.

Meanwhile,confirming the incident, Guwahati Police officials informed that a case hasbeen registered in connection to the matter.
