Health Awareness Camp Organised By Assam Police Wives’ Welfare Association

A Health Awareness and Disease Detection Camp has been organised by Assam Police Wives' Welfare Association (APWWA) in collaboration with B. Barooah Cancer Institute Guwahati in Bongaigaon Police Reserve.

The camp was organized for lady Police personnel and lady wives' of 8th APBn Abhyapuri, ladies of Chirang and Bongaigaon districts.

The health camp was inaugurated by Swapnali Mahanta, President APWWA and Ruchi Bharadwaj Barah, Secretary APWWA.

On the occasion, Senior Doctors of B. Barooah Cancer Institute Guwahati addressed the gathering and explained the importance of health care.

 A total of 81 lady officers and lady wives' of 8th APBn, Abhayapuri, Chirang and Bongaigaon districts participated in the camp.

Out of total 81 participants, two cases were detected having unhealthy Cervix with moderate erosion detected.
