Health City Hospital organises running competition on Women’s Day

On the occasion of International Women's Day, Guwahati's Health City Hospital had organised a running competition. The initiative was taken to create awareness on Breast cancer.

More than 300 women and men from various parts of the state participated at the event, which had been organised in two categories. One category was to run for five kilometres and the other was to run for 10.

The competition was flagged off by famous Assamese actor Barsha Rani Bishaya. Speaking to Pratidin Time, the actor has urged every woman to have a mammography (a process to examine the human breast for diagnosis and screening).
