Kamrup (M) Reports 268 Cases of COVID-19 on Sunday

Kamrup (M) on Sunday reported 268 new cases of COVID-19, informed Assam Health and Family Welfare Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma through his twitter handle.

The minister in his tweet said that 1178 cases have been detected in the state today out of which Kamrup Metro reported 268 cases. The new cases have been detected out of the 19943 tests conducted in the last 24 hours.

However, the state has maintained a low positivity rate consistently and on Sunday the rate is 5.91 percent, the minister said in his tweet.

On the other hand, 942 patients have been discharged today.

The state registered 42904 cases of COVID-19 while 32384 patients have been discharged after recovery. With the new cases, the active numbers in the state now stand at 10412.
