A group of 4-5 dacoits looted more than 4 lakhs from Nilam Bazar on Sunday night. The incident took place in Rupargul area in Karimganj.

The dacoits threatened a man named Kabir Ahmed with sharp objects and looted him of 4 lakhs and 50 thousand rupees.

As per sources, they blocked the road with a tree and committed the crime. The dacoits are still at large and police are on a lookout.
