Kokrajhar cops seize 587kg ganja, two held

Kokrajhar Police on Wednesday has seized large consignment of ganja.

The police officials have recovered 61 bags of ganja of weight with 587 kilogrammes.

The driver and the handyman Harjeet Singh and Hardeep Singh were driving the consignment from Imphal in Manipur to Punjab via Kolkata in a truck numbered PB-11 CJ 8539.

Simultapu police station officials seized the ganja, announced the Kokrajhar district Superintendent of Police.
