Laikhuta of 88th session of Srimanta Sankardev Sangha erected

The foundation stone of 88th annual conference Srimanta Sankardev Sangha, which will be held at the Sahityarathi Lakshmi Bezbarua Samanwai Khetra in Morigaon, with a four-day colourful programme within the first week of February, 2019, was erected this morning.

For smooth functioning of the socio-cultural and religious organization of the Northeast, a huge reception committee has been formed.

The padadhikar of Srimanta Sankardev Sangha Bhabendranath Deka erected the Laikhuta of the 88th annual session of Srimanta Sankardev Sangha.

Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma, Pijush Hazarika, Morigaon MLA Ramakanta Deori, Batadrava MLA Angoorlata Deka have attended the open session which was held on the occasion of installation of foundation stone.

Delivering the speech as the chief guest Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma said that the State Government will extend all possible help in organising the event.
