Minor girl rescued in Lumding

Inyet another sensational incident in the State, a 14-year-old girl was recoveredfrom the Jana Satabdi Express in Lumding on Wednesday. She reportedly went missingon Sunday (August 4).

Accordingto reports, the girl hails from Bokajan area under Karbi Anglong district andwas kidnapped by human traffickers.

Thepassengers of the Jana Satabdi Express recovered the girl from and handed herover to Railway Protection Force (RPF) in Lumding railway station.

Meanwhile,the RPF have informed the Bokajan police about her recovery.

However,the traffickers have managed to escape from the train.
