In a tragic incident on Tuesday night at Panjabari at around9.30PM, an unknown person entered the house of Urvashi kaibarta and Thapanakaibarta and mercilessly stabbed them multiple times. They were rushed to GNRC hospitalfor treatment. However, Urvashi died in the hospital and Thapana is still admittedas she is still not out of danger.

Although Satgaon police are investigating the matter since last night but till now no arrests have been made. Police have said that the assailants was a known person to Kaibarta family.

People are angry on the slow pace of police investigationand are blaming the police for the rise of crime in Guwahati.
