Myanmar takes control of NSCN-K headquarter

In a recent development, the Myanmar Army has taken over the headquarters of the National Socialist Council of Nagaland-Khaplang (NSCN-K) region at the Taga area.

According to reports, the NSCN-K had refused to follow order to drive out the non-citizen terrorists and armed rebels from their camps; following which the action was taken by the Myanmar army.

The Myanmar army has also seized a large number of arms and ammunition from the insurgents. The NSCN-K has a ceasefire agreement with the Myanmar government.
