A newborn baby has been recovered from a paddy field in Margherita on Friday evening.

It has been suspected that, the newborn's body has been disposed in the field by heartless mother to cover up their extra marital affairs.

As per reports, Margherita Police had reached the scene and sent the newborn baby to Margherita civil hospital for health check up and further care. Now the baby has been kept in child care unit of the hospital.

It may be stated that, the person, who recovered the child informed to media that he will take the responsibility of the baby.
