NRC Dropouts will have the right to vote: EC

The Election Commission took a call on National Register of Citizens (NRC) and said that the registered voters left out of NRC will have the right to vote.

The voters left out of NRC will have the right to vote until and unless their case is pending at Foreigners Tribunal.

According to the Election Commission, D (Doubtful) Voter will remain on Assam's electoral roll unless their case is decided by a Foreigners' Tribunal.

The administration has set up 100 Foreigners Tribunals in Assam and the state government will set up another 200 Foreigners Tribunals in the coming weeks.
