The vice-chairperson of United Liberation Font of Assam (ULFA) Paresh Baruah had commented on the Deben Dutta murder case.

He told, "earlier also such incidents has taken place where Dr. Mridul Kr. Bhattacharya and his wife had to breathe their last."

Baruah asked not to repeat such incident againand again. He added that, the political leaders and the local tea organizationsare being failed to remove the superstition and maintain the law and order amongthe tea tribes and he requested not to do politics with the tea tribes alongwith such incidents.
