Assam excise minister Parimal Suklabaidya, who visited the Jorhat Medical College & Hospital (JMCH) on Sunday evening, faced the wrath of public in the medical college premises. The angry public demanded the minister to take strict action against 'Laligur' traders of the district.

The public demanded the arrests of the traders Anil Agarwala, Mohan Choudhury, Jay Kumar Agarwala (Papu) and Mahesh Beria. The minister after angry public gheraoed him ordered the police over phone to immediately arrest the traders.

Notably, more than 162 people have died so far and threatening to touch 200 as more and more affected people lost their lives.
