The Numaligarh Police have apprehended two rhino poachers on Wednesday night and seized horns from the poachers. The identified poachers are Konwar Shyam and Borsing Hanchek of Karbi Anglong.

However,another poacher Mantu Borgohain has been absconded.  

Policealso seized one Yamaha FZ bike and two mobile phones.

On the other hand, Udalguri Police have apprehended two poachers from Routa in Majuli. The poachers have been identified as Sumen Basumatary and Reminsh Daimary.

Policeseized 4 hand-made guns from the poachers.
