Pratidin Time Journalists Get Media Fellowship

In a major achievement, three journalists from Pratidin Time have been selected for Media fellowships under the Information and Public Relationship Department of the state for the year 2019-20. A total of 17 journalists have received the fellowship, this year.

The three were able to grab the fellowship following their proposal on specific projects that adhered to social development, public awareness, etc. The three journalists are Jadumoni Saikia, Partha Protim Baruah and Pranjal Borah of Pratidin Time.

On the other hand, Lachit Barman from 'Sadin' and Pranita Roy Bhuyan from 'Asomiya Pratidin' also get the fellowship.

The scheme has been introduced for the first time in Assam which aims tohelp journalists improve their professional skills and upgrade their knowledgein journalism. Under the scheme, 20 fellowships will be awarded to journalistsalong with Rs 50,000 each.
