Things have taken an ugly turn at Kakojan Tea Estate in Mariani today.

Tea garden labourers and members of AATSA encircled the garden manager on charges of exploitation and deprivation against the garden owners.

Hundreds of labourers reportedly took to the streets in protest.

Meanwhile, Police and CRPF have been deployed in the tea estate to bring the situation under control.
