In a heinous and hideous incident, a mentally-challenged woman was allegedly raped and killed near the Gunabari bridge in Rupohihat last night.

The dead body, which has several injury marks, was left in an isolated place by the miscreant near the said bridge.

The body was spotted by some locals today morning, and the matter was then brought to the notice of the Police.
