School van catches fire in Jorhat

In a shocking incident in Jorhat, a school-van caughtfire on Wednesday. The driver and his helper managed to get out in time withouthaving any serious injuries. However, there were no students inside theschool-van during the incident.

According to sources, the van caught fire over a busy street of Jorhat town on its way back from dropping the students at Don Bosco School. The number of the vehicle was AS-04-C-9765.

After receiving notice of the incident, the locals in the area extended their help to bring the blaze under control.
