Tezpur: American Man, His Wife Found Murdered

In a shocking incident, an American man and his Indian wife were found murdered at their house in Tezpur on Saturday night.

According to police, the bodies of Bryan Arij (80) and his wife Asha Arif (65) had injury marks and were found in a pool of blood at their house in Tezpur after neighbours complained that the couple was not seen for more than a day.

Robbery is suspected as the miscreants fled with valuables. The house was also ransacked.

Bryan, who worked in the Ministry of Defence, had settled down with his wife in Patiachuburi after retirement. The couple is survived by their two daughters who live in Delhi and Pune.

Police said they are investigating the case from several angles and hunt has been launched to nab the culprits. Furthermore, people in the area also demanded that security be beefed up.
