Tihu gang-rape: Fourth Accused Arrested

The fourth  accused in the Tihu gang-rape has been arrested by the police on Sunday. The accused named Rupdhan Ali has been arrested by the police from Rangia Puthimari and is under custody.

However, the fifth accused Merajul Ali is still on the run.

The main accused, Kishor Mohan Das was arrested on Saturday.

Police arrested two accused named Nurul Ali and  Bakkul Nath right after the incident on October 25th. Police also seized the Alto car where the five accused committed the heinous crime.

In a heinous incident a married woman was allegedly gang-raped in a moving car by five men traveling in an Alto car with registration no AS-01-DG-3056 who was reportedly abducted from Tihu's Nathkuchi.

Later she was dumped at Karkabari forest with her hands and legs tied.
