Tinsukia Registers 416 COVID-19 Cases

The COVID-19 cases in the Tinsukia district are increasing at an alarming rate. A total of 416 persons have been infected with the virus out of which 27 persons were suspected to be infected by community transmission.

According to reports, five persons who came in contact with MLA Bolin Chetia have tested positive of the virus while the reports of many others are still awaited.

The district administration has not yet decided to impose lockdown in the district even after the cases are rising rapidly. The Tinsukia town has now three containment zones.
