“We Shall Kill Them All”: Mizoram MP Threatens To Kill Assam Cops

Pratidin Bureau

Mizoram's Rajya Sabha MP K Vanlalvena has publicly threatened Assam police saying that they would all be killed if they dared to go to Mizoram side.

He also claimed that shot first during the July 26 border clash that left 6 Assam cops dead and many other injured.

"Hundreds of Assam police personnel entered our territory, pushing back our forces from our posts and also shot first. They are lucky that we didn't kill them all. If they come again, we shall kill them all," he said.

Taking strong note on his statement, Assam Police along with sleuths of CID reached Delhi today to question Vanlalvena.

They believe Vanlalvena had an active role behind the violent clashes.

"Assam Police team including officers of CID is leaving for Delhi to take lawful action relating to conspiracy behind the incident in light of media interview of Rajya Sabha MP Sri K Vanlalvena indicative of his active role in conspiracy," Assam police special director general GP Singh had tweeted.
