200 plus Bajaj Auto employees test COVID positive

Pratidin Bureau

More than 200 employees of Bajaj Auto have reportedly tested COVID-19 positive at its factory at Waluj, Aurangabad. 4 out of them have died as on Friday, as per reports.

The plant is the largest of all the other plants of Bajaj Auto in terms of manufacturing capacity. The plant was reportedly operating in two shifts after gradually resuming operations from the last week of April.

Some fear that the sudden outbreak of the pandemic among the employees of the unit might have a toll on its production schedules.
