Amit Shah slams RaGa over “Modi stole 30K crore from IAF”

Pratidin Bureau

Slamming Congress president Rahul Gandhi over his comment on the Prime Minister Narendra Modi that he "stole" Rs. 30,000 crore from IAF and Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee and Samajwadi Party leader Akhilesh Yadav inquiring about the details of the air strike and its impact, BJP President Amit Shah said "They should be ashamed of their statements. The statements have brought a smile to Pakistan's face. I know they do not have Modiji's calibre, but if they cannot support the armed forces, they should at least learn to keep quiet."

Addressing Congress's Parivartan Ulgulan Maha Rally at Ranchi's Morabadi Ground on March 02, Gandhi alleged that there was "corruption" in the Rafale deal and Rs. 30,000 crore had been wrongfully given to Anil Ambani.

"Vaayu Sena desh ki raksha karti hain aur hamare PM use chori karti hain (The IAF defends our country but the PM has stolen money from the force)," he stated.

The Congress chief also alleged that the PM had waived Rs. 3.5 lakh crore loan of industrialists, but not for farmers, students and shopkeepers and said the latter not only robs the IAF but also steals money from farmers, small businessmen, and other common people.

PM Modi took a jibe at the opposition at his rally in Bihar on Sunday, saying "instead of boosting the morale of the forces, they are doing everything to make the enemy happy".

Hours after India sent fighter planes into Pakistan, on February 26, targeting a training facility of the Jaish-e-Mohammed, a terrorist death count of 300 made rounds without official confirmation. The Air Force has also refused to give any figures.
