Aryan Khan Steps Out Of Jail 4 Weeks After Arrest

Pratidin Bureau

Aryan Khan was today released from Mumbai's Arthur Road Jail, two days after he was granted bail in the drugs-on-cruise case. He had to spend two additional nights as his paperwork for release were not presented in time.

Aryan Khan was seen leaving the jail at around 11 am, surrounded by security. Fans were seen swarming outside Mannat with posters.

Aryan, who has been in jail since October 3, could not be released yesterday as his lawyers missed the 5.30 pm deadline to submit the release documents in the jail, as informed by a senior jail official. Juhi Chawla had signed the ₹1lakh bail bond for his release.

Aryan was granted bail on several conditions that the court listed. The conditions prohibit him from leaving the city without police permission, communicate with fellow accused and talk to the media. Failing to comply which, the NCB may request cancellation of his bail.
