Ayodhya Verdict : Schools, colleges in UP to be closed till Monday

Pratidin Bureau

The UP Government has declared holiday for all schools till November 11 as Supreme Court would be delivering the verdict on the long-standing land dispute case of Ayodhya.

Security has been beefed and all metros (New Delhi and Mumbai) have been put on high alert. To ensure safety of all students, the educational, as well as training institutes in the state, would remain closed.

While Delhi and Mumbai have also been put on high alert, there is no news of schools being closed. In most parts of India, November 12 is a holiday due to Guru Nanak Jayanti. With November 9 and 11 being a holiday, schools in Uttar Pradesh would now open on November 13. More updates on schools and colleges and any examinations would be provided here.
