Court Reserves Order on Chidambaram’s Bail Plea

The Delhi High Court on Friday reserved the order on Congress leader P Chidambaram's bail plea after both sides concluded their arguments in the CBI INX media case.

He is currently lodged in Tihar Jail till 3rd October. His stay was extended till from September 19 to October 3.

Chidambaram was arrested by the CBI on August 21, from his residence in Jor Bagh. Both CBI and the Enforcement Directorate has registered a case against the senior Congress leader. While the ED has filed a case under the Prevention of Money Laundering Act, the CBI has registered a case over corruption allegations.
