Kerala author booked over remarks on NRC

The KeralaPolice has booked an author for her provocative statement regarding the NationalRegister of Citizens (NRC) in social media platform. The author allegedly suggestedthat those excluded from NRC should be put in detention camps after being sterilized.She has been identified as one Indira, who is said to be an author.

Whensome Facebook users objected her statement she allegedly replied that contraceptivedrugs must be mixed in drinking water for a particular community in order tocontrol birth among them. However, she deleted the post later.

Meanwhile,Police after registering a case against her under Section 153 of the IndianPenal Code initiated the investigation detained the account holder Indira.
