Leopard Enters Uttarakhand Medical College

In one of its kind incident in Uttarakhand, a leopard entered the Srinagar Government Medical College in Uttarakhand's Pauri district on Sunday and attacked a couple of persons and creating panic in the premises.

The leopard, which entered the medical college in the morning, was seen at a number of places and is now believed to be in a hostel.

District Forest Officer Laxman Singh said the wildlife officials have started efforts to trap the wild cat from the hostel where it was last seen and all the inmates of the hostel have been asked to vacate the premises.

An alert has already been sounded in the area.
