Month after CCD founder’s death, his father dies

After nearly a month of CCD founder VG Siddhartha's death, his father Gangaiah Hegde passed away following a prolonged illness on Sunday.

Hegde breathed his last at Shanthaveri Gopala Gowda hospital and will be cremated in Chikmagalur today, informed relatives.

Gangaiah Hegde began as a coffee planter at an estate in the Chikmagalur district of Karnataka which soon turned into a successful business.

Earlier, Siddhartha went missing on July 29 from the Netravati Bridge, who was found dead on the banks of Netravati River near Hoige Bazaar in Mangaluru on July 31.
