One killed in Karnataka on suspicion of being child lifter

In another such incident in the country, one man was lynched to death in Karnataka and two severely injured after a mob attacked them on suspicion of being child lifters.

The incident took place at Mandikera village when the deceased Mohammed Azam and his two friends were visiting the area.

As per reports, Azam and his friends had offered chocolates to some students to which their parents and locals objected. As the men were trying to leave, villagers gathered and blocked the road and started assaulting them. During the attack, Azam died on spot.

A case has been registered by the district police and an investigation has been initiated.
