Pakistan Releases Masood Azhar From Jail Secretly

Jaish-e-Mohammad (JeM) chief Masood Azhar, who was arrested a month before, has once again been released secretly by Pakistan. The intelligence agencies have warned the Indian government that Pakistan has enhanced the deployment of troops along its border areas in Rajasthan and along the Sialkot-Jammu sectors.

The IB input also reportedly warned of possible terror attacks in India. The report says that the Indian security forces along these border areas have been put on high alert following the intelligence inputs.

India, who declared Azhar as a terrorist, was arrested by Pakistanin a bid to show the international community that it was taking decisiveactions against terror emanating from its soil. Staring at a possible FinancialAction Task Force (FATF) blacklisting Islamabad had, even earlier, detained andlater released the JeM chief. The Asia Pacific Group of FATF blacklistedPakistan over non-compliance in actions last month against terror financing.
