PM addresses Indian community at UNESCO HQ

PrimeMinister Narendra Modi on Friday said that his government has not only foughtimperialism, fascism and extremism in India, but also in France. He wasaddressing the Indian community at the UNESCO headquarters in Paris and saidthat action is being taken against corruption, nepotism, loot of people's moneyand terrorism.

Speakingregarding the abrogation of Article 370, the PM said, "There is no scope fortemporary in India," adding, "India is moving fast on the path of development."

"Wedid away with practice of triple talaq; injustice cannot be done to Muslimwomen in new India," the PM said on the issue of triple talaq. The PM alsostated that India will achieve most of the climate change goals set for 2030.

Earlier,PM Modi inaugurated a memorial in honour of the victims of two Air Indiacrashes in France in the 1950s and 1960s.
