Pratidin Bureau

In a fresh development in Sushant Singh Rajput's death case, a police complaint was filed by Rhea Chakraborty on Monday against Sushant's sister Priyanka Singh for sending 'bogus medical prescription' to her brother.

Rhea in her complaint has said that the medical prescription meant for Sushant appeared to be "forged and fabricated".

Rhea also named Dr Tarun Kumar of Ram Manohar Lohia Hospital for forgery.

"Sushant died within five days after obtaining this unlawful prescription. It is imperative that actions of Priyanka Singh, Dr Tarun Kumar and others be investigated and that it be determined as to how they came to provide the deceased with such a bogus and unlawful prescription," Rhea said in her complaint.

The complaint which was filed with the Mumbai Police alleges that a bogus medical prescription depicted Sushant Singh Rajput as an Out patient Department patient at a hospital in Delhi when he was in fact in Mumbai on June 8.

The complaint is based on Whatsapp texts between Sushant and his sister from June 8, six days before he was found dead in Mumbai. The chats suggest that the Priyanka Singh, his sister, asked Sushant to take Librium for a week, Nextio every day and Lonazep whenever there is anxiety attack.

The chats also contradict the fact that Sushant's family was unaware of any mental illness the actor may have been battling as they have claimed.

Rhea Chakraborty is currently being questioned by the Narcotics Control Bureau, as part of the ongoing investigation in Sushant Singh Rajput's death case.
