SC Refuses to intervene in Kashmir matter

The  Supreme Courttoday refused to intervene in the Jammu & Kashmir matter allow executivesto handle the ground situation. The Supreme Court allowed normalcy to returnand will take up the matter after two weeks.

Meanwhile, Rahul Gandhi turned the game on as he acceptedthe invitation of the Governor to visit the state. Earlier Governor Satya PalMalik taunted Mr Gandhi to visit the state promising to send an aircraft.

Mr Gandhi accepted the invitation sans the aircraft and requesting the governor to arrange a trip so that he and opposition leaders can meet ordinary people and mainstream local leaders without restrictions.

Meanwhile, the Jammu & Kasmir have started massive arrangement to celebrate Independence Day at a grand scale.
