Amid Congress President Rahul Gandhi quitting his post and a quest for a new successor, top party leaders will meet at the party chief's residence at 4:30 PM on Tuesday.

According to reports, Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, Congress spokesperson Randeep Surjewala and Rajasthan Deputy Chief Minister Sachin Pilot had already met Rahul today.

The national party president is quite clear on his stance and as such has no plans of detouring from it.

Former Assam CM Tarun Gogoi said that although he will not change his mind, but he wants Rahul to continue.
