BYJU’S to be new Team India sponsor

India's leading education and learning app BYJU'S will be the next Team India sponsor. The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) on Thursday named BYJU's as the official sponsor of Team India.

BYJU's will replace Oppo and will take over the sponsorship from the tech-giant from September 5, 2019, until March 31, 2022.

"Onbehalf of the BCCI, we would like to thank OPPO for its partnership with IndianCricket. I congratulate BYJU'S on becoming the new Team India sponsor. BCCI andBYJU'S share a common vision and together we will take Indian Cricketforward," said BCCI CEO Rahul Johri.

Itmay be mentioned here that the deal between the BCCI and Oppo, which was inkedin 2017 for a five-year period, was reportedly worth ₹1,079 crore.
