FIFA World Cup 2018 update | Germany back from the edge after a 2-1 win

On the 10th day of the FIFA World Cup 2018, a thrilling stoppage-time goal from Toni Kroos have given Germany a 2-1 win over Sweden to keep alive their hopes of qualifying for last 16.

Kroos had delivered a splendid strike from an indirect free kick to grab the three points for the four-time world champions who are now level with Sweden in Group F on three points and behind Mexico who have six points.

On the same day, Mexico beat South Korea with a graceful 2-1 victory in their Group-F match at Rostov Arena.

Mexico got goals from Carlos Vela and Javier "Chicharito" Hernandez, one in each half, to secure its second victory.

As far as South Korea is concerned, winning against Germany can prevent them from being knocked out.

Earlier, Belgium defeated Tunisia 5-2 in a Group-G match at Spartak Stadium in Moscow on Saturday.

Forward Romelu Lukaku and captain Eden Hazard smashed a brace each making Belgium win over 21st ranked Tunisia.

Tunisia, on the other hand has been knocked out of the mega football event.

On a related note, Belgium will next take on England in their third and final group match on June 28 at the Kaliningrad Stadium.
