ISL 2019 : CM Conrad Shows ‘Love for Football’

It goes without saying that football is one of the most-watched sports in NorthEast India, and the ongoing Indian Super League (ISL) is the new center of attraction. The Highlanders, who have been performing extremely well in the tournament, had played against FC Goa in Guwahati today.

While fans are going crazy watching their region play, Chief Minister of Meghalaya Conrad Sangma was among the prominent figures present at the Indira Gandhi Athletic Stadium in Guwahati to watch the NEUFC vs FC GOA match on Friday.

NorthEast United and FC Goa are both unbeaten are two games each and after this clash, both sides continue that run. NorthEast United, playing their second home match, drew 2-2 with FC Goa 1-0 at the home ground.
