Shakib Al Hasan banned for 2 years

Bangladesh all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan has been bannedfor two years. Shakib has also been suspended for one year as he accepted threecharges of breaching the ICC Anti-Corruption Code.

According to reports, the ban applies to all formats of the game. Shakib will not be able for selection for Bangladesh until 29 October 2020.

The ban of the star all-rounder, who is also thecountry's Test and T20 skipper, came ahead of the team's tour of India. TheIndia vs Bangladesh series, comprising three T20 Internationals and two Tests, startsNovember 3.
